Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) funds should report annually on progress against pooling and private equity investments, fresh guidance has said.

The LGPS advisory board guidance on the content of funds’ annual reports, which will apply to the 2023-24 reports due by December, said funds ‘must’ provide annual commentary and data on how they implemented their pooling – including an explanation for un-pooled assets.
