Nottingham still 'dependent upon EFS'

Nottingham City Council remains dependent on exceptional financial support (EFS) but has laid the groundwork for becoming sustainable, commissioners have said.

Their latest report to ministers, published last week, indicated that while concerns remain, plans will see the council recover from its financial crisis if implemented.
