Tempest Resourcing has announced that is now an approved partner on the Local Government Resourcing Partnership (LGRP), a framework for the public sector to access and procure recruiting and resourcing services.

As an approved partner on Lot 1 of the LGRP, Tempest Resourcing is able to support all public sector organisations in the UK by offering an efficient compliant route to market for interim recruitment services.

Originally established in 2005 as the London Boroughs’ Recruitment Partnership, the LGRP framework aims to help those within government and the public sector save time and money by providing access to trusted partners when procuring, recruiting and resourcing services. Today, procurement of the LGRP is run by the London Borough of Waltham Forest (LBWF) with support from YPO, a 100% publicly funded organisation established to provide national and regional frameworks that meet the needs of local authorities and the wider public sector.

By winning a place on Lot 1 of the LGRP, Tempest passed a stringent qualification process. This means it is fully compliant with EU 2015 regulations and YPO standards, adheres to open book costing and strives to add value wherever possible. Public sector organisations also benefit from the ability to procure one-off or multiple Lot services, either by direct award or further provider competition.

This means LGRP users working with Tempest for senior interim recruitment know that as an approved partner it will help them to find the most cost effective and appropriate solutions when attempting to source highly skilled candidates for interim roles such as CEOs, directors, assistant directors and heads of service.

Michael Humphreys, Group Managing Director, Tempest Resourcing, said: “Winning a place on the LGRP framework represents a great opportunity for us to further build on our reputation for delivering transformational recruitment solutions for government organisations and those within the public sector.

“They already know they can rely on us as a trusted partner and the award on Lot 1 of the LGRP will allow us to show how we can bring further efficiency and cost effectiveness to the interim recruitment process. Our consultants already have decades of experience when it comes to identifying interims for temporary positions across all government sectors.”

The award runs for the next two years until November 2023, with YPO and the LBWF having the option to extend for a further two.
