Local government minister Jim McMahon has sent three envoys in to improve Tower Hamlets LBC following last year's Best Value inspection.

Former Newham LBC chief executive Kim Bromley-Derry, who led the inspection in 2024, has been appointed as the lead envoy, alongside Birmingham City Council commissioner Pam Parkes and Sandwell MBC chief executive Shokat Lal as assistant envoys.
