Over 90% of council-run bus services have been cut since 2010, a new analysis has revealed.

Carried out by the i, the analysis shows an estimated 16 million miles of bus routes have been lost in the 10 worst-affected areas alone.

Bus provision in Slough has fallen by 65%. It has also been cut in Stoke (64%), Bath (52%), and Warrington (52%).

Rutland, England's smallest county, has lost 70% of its bus services.

The North has seen bus services reduced by 32%, above the average for England of 22%.
