Celebrating the best of council-run services

LocalGov and We Own It are partnering up to launch the Local Public Ownership Awards.

The aim is to celebrate councils doing a brilliant job of running public services directly.

Send us your inspiring examples of local public ownership before the end of April.

The winners of the awards will be chosen by the public and announced at the start of July.

Does your council deserve an award for running a great service in-house? Please email the following information to info@weownit.org.uk

  • A summary of your example (no less than a sentence, no more than 80 words)
  • A link to further information online
  • A photo (if you have one)
