Wirral MBC’s Independent Assurance Panel (IAP) has officially stood down after declaring it was ‘no longer required’.

The panel’s chair Carolyn Downs wrote to the council to confirm that there had been ‘significant improvements’ made since the IAP was established two years ago following an external assurance review.
