Three boroughs share chief in preparation for LGR image

Three councils hoping to form a unitary authority under local government reorganisation have agreed to share a chief executive and monitoring officer.

Chris Sinnott will fulfil the joint chief executive role at West Lancashire, Chorley and South Ribble BCs, while West Lancashire's monitoring officer Kay Lovelady will take on the role at all three councils.
