South East leaders vent fury over mandatory housing targets

Leaders of five shire councils in the South East have criticised the Government's move to reintroduce mandatory housing targets.

The Conservative leaders have expressed concern their region is to become ‘no more than a cash cow' for the new Labour Government, in a letter to the Telegraph.
