SWARCO Smart Charging, one of the UK’s leading providers of electric vehicle charging infrastructure, has appointed Stuart Davis as a Strategic Account Manager for the Public Sector.

Stuart will be working across England and Wales with national government, local authorities, the NHS and blue light services, supporting these groups as they look to deploy the charging technology necessary for electrification. SWARCO Smart Charging provides a turnkey solution, from consultation through to installation, end-to-end, and fully funded.

With more than 20 years’ experience in sales and marketing, primarily within the public sector, Stuart is excited to be joining the business: “I feel extremely proud to be joining a company that is leading the way in terms of the electrification of vehicles,” he says.

“SWARCO is a market-leading, international company that is driving forward the sustainable agenda by providing the much-needed charging infrastructure to local authorities, commercial fleets and public transport in the UK. The company has delivered more than 4,000 charge points for local authorities in the UK over the last 10 years, and I am looking to build upon this trust, bringing our market-leading technology to a wider audience than ever before and helping the UK with its green transition.”

Justin Meyer, Managing Director of SWARCO Smart Charging, adds: “Stuart’s deep knowledge of the public sector gives him insight into the needs of local authorities and service providers across the country. His experience will be crucial as we look to provide the charging infrastructure necessary for the UK to realise a more sustainable future.”
