A record 165,510 children are now homeless and living in temporary accommodation, according to the latest homelessness figures.
A third of homeless households (32%) are also stuck in temporary accommodation out of their area.
This marks the eighth year in a row that the number of children in temporary accommodation has hit record highs.
It follows a warning from the homelessness charity Shelter that more than 200,000 children could be stuck in temporary accommodation by the end of this Parliament.
