Ministers urged to synchronise reorganisation and mayoral timetables

Hertfordshire CC's leader has written to ministers calling for moves toward a mayoral strategic authority (MSA) to progress on the same timeline as local government reorganisation.

In his letter to local government secretary Steve Reed, Steve Jarvis argued that synchronising the two made ‘economic and practical sense'.
