Galloway accused of breaching election laws

Leader of Respect, George Galloway, has been accused of breaching election laws over a tweet.

The Bradford West candidate, who lost out to Labour in the General election to Labour’s Naseem Shah, reportedly tweeted his party’s exit poll before voting ended at 10pm last night.

Bradford MBC’s returning officer reported the breach to West Yorkshire Police, but it has been dismissed as a ‘storm in a thimble’ by Mr Galloway’s spokesman.

Mr Galloway has already been accused of breeching the election laws over the campaign after he allegedly made false statement about his rival, Ms Shah.
