EXCLUSIVE: McMahon to meet Sheffield leaders about committee abolition

Minister Jim McMahon has committed to meeting with Sheffield City Council's political group leaders to discuss the Government's proposed abolition of the committee system.

Council chief executive Kate Josephs called on McMahon to schedule the meeting ‘as soon as possible' after the Parliamentary recess ends next month.
