London chief arrested

A London borough chief executive has been arrested and charged with driving and drug offences.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed the chief executive of Lambeth LBC, Bayo Dosunmu, was arrested on Sunday 23 June after failing to stop at the scene of an accident.

On Monday he was charged with possession of a class A controlled drug, failing to stop after a road accident, driving above the prescribed alcohol limit, and using a motor vehicle in a public place without third party insurance.
