The latest plans to slash the pay for Local Government Association (LGA) staff are unlikely to hit those on the very highest salaries, figures leaked to The MJ have revealed.

A consultation on the LGA's future operating model was released last week, revealing plans to cut staff and downgrade roles across the organisation, prompting warnings of a ‘mass exodus'.
