Dorset hopes to recover potential contract fraud losses

A council that sacked 11 interim officers over the potential mismanagement of a multi-million pound repairs contract hopes to recover at least £1m of the money it lost.

Nick Ireland, leader of Dorset Council, said this week: ‘We have people looking into reclaiming anything we can.'
