Two enforcement agents have been dismissed after footage emerged of them threatening to assault a member of the public while working on behalf of a London council.
The agents, employed by contractor Kingdom Services Group on behalf of Harrow Council, were filmed making the threats and were also found to have deliberately switched off their body-worn cameras during the encounter.
Harrow Council said ‘swift action’ was taken as soon as the incident and complaint were raised in May, and confirmed the two individuals no longer work for Kingdom.
A council spokesperson said: ‘Threats of violence towards members of the public are wholly unacceptable and will not be tolerated.’
The council added it takes any deliberate deactivation of body-worn cameras ‘extremely seriously.’
