CQC: Stronger leadership needed to improve Blackpool's inadequate adult social care

The Care Quality Commission has rated Blackpool Council's adult social care inadequate, warning that ‘stronger leadership' will be needed for it to improve.

In reaching its judgement, the health and social care inspectorate gave the service its lowest score for its management, safeguarding and assessing needs.
