Brighton & Hove expansion 'absolutely outrageous'

An MP has described Brighton & Hove City Council's proposal to expand to the east as ‘absolutely outrageous'.

Lib Dem MP for Lewes, James MacCleary, said Labour-led Brighton & Hove had failed to give any ‘clear reason or logic' for its plan to take over parts of Green-led Lewes DC as part of local government reorganisation and there had been no prior engagement with him.
