Not all 39 councillors at a Nottinghamshire council are fully getting to grips with the financial challenges for the local authority, a peer review has warned.
The Local Government Association team suggested an ongoing training and development plan for the politicians at Newark and Sherwood DC to ‘ensure councillors understand the longer-term budget pressures'.
