East Midlands mayor Claire Ward has said the Local Government Association ‘might not be' the place where combined and strategic authorities ‘fit'.

Speaking to delegates at the District Councils' Network conference near Windsor, Ward said regional mayors were ‘still working through' the issue of where they sit in terms of sector affiliation.
