VapourFlow’s PyroSafe Smoke and AutoAirFlow product are now protecting Tower blocks for Homes for Haringey.
These are installed into 6 high-rise Tower blocks as specified by Homes for Haringey. Over 850 systems protecting people and homes from the communal ventilation system.
Each home is being protected from Fire and Smoke by the PyroSafe units that isolate the ventilation system, at each air duct entry point, at times when smoke or fire detected.
As smoke doesn’t trigger intumescent collars or sprinkler systems.
It is estimated that 50–80% of fire deaths are the result of smoke inhalation. VapourFlow PyroSafe development was specifically to protect from this danger.
AutoFlowValve, Air Flow controller - Time is saved when you install these devices, balancing is automatically achieved at each air intake port, with this fit and forget system, air flow volumes are balanced mechanically in response to variable air pressure changes
The PyroSafe is a smart safety inlet air vent, protecting from smoke spreading into or out from the communal ventilation systems.
PyroSafe Vent is a unique product that shuts the vent down when it:
- detects smoke
- detects heat rise
- An Event automatically triggers
- A seal of the ventilation port that compartmentalise a dwelling
- Audible Alarm
- Time Date Log of the event
