Transport: Bradford is top trade base
Bradford has been named Britain’s best business base in the back of its good transport links and low congestion levels.
The Yorkshire city came out on top in the Portman Travel study thanks to its skilled workforce, good transport infrastructure - including airports access - and low levels of traffic congestion.
It beat off competition from London, Manchester and Birmingham. Oldham was listed at the bottom of the 65 towns and cities studied.
