Marlborough Highways has been awarded a two-year Contract with Thurrock Council which includes all aspects of Traffic Management.
The Contract between Thurrock Council and Marlborough Highways which began at the beginning of April, will run for two years with a possible one-year extension. The contract is valued at around £500,000.
Marlborough will work with Thurrock Council as their routine traffic management contractor to provide a range of services including temporary traffic signals, lane closures, diversion routes, footpath and public right of way closures and providing Impact Protections Vehicles (IPV) for work on or near the highway.
Marlborough will also provide emergency 24/7 response for the duration of the contract and will provide traffic management for council works including carriageway repairs, drainage & gully cleansing, vegetation management, arboricultural work and cleansing and litter picking.
