Time for ‘living’

Time for ‘living’ Birmingham City Council has pledged to work towards ensuring everyone in the city is entitled to a ‘living wage’. The scheme, proposed at a meeting of Birmingham Citizens last week, would mean employees being offered a rate above the current minimum wage £5.05 as is being implemented in London by Ken Livingstone for all organisations for which he is responsible.
