Timberplay scoop best Supplier award at NFAN Conference for the second year running.

Timberplay were delighted to win the prestigious Best Supplier award at the 2019 NFAN Conference, held in Edinburgh. They fought off competition from many other suppliers to win the award, and were doubly thrilled as this was the second win in as many years. The award was presented to Timberplay as a result of the ambitious waterplay facility, H2Odds, installed at Odds Farm Park in Spring 2018. This jaw-dropping installation also came within a whisker of winning the Innovation Award, instead receiving the runner up, Highly Commended award.

Odds Farm Park have worked with Timberplay over the past six years, enhancing their play facilities year on year. Working in collaboration with Odds Farm, Timberplay created designs for a water play facility unlike any other, incorporating 500m² of water play, 80m of channels streams and pools and 28 distinct play features including locks, dams, the Archimedes Screw and Waterscoop Wheel. This challenging play installation delivers an immersive water play experience and was a great hit with visitors over the Summer. Ben Harbottle, Sales Director at Timberplay comments:-

“We were so thrilled to win this award, particularly as it was for the second year. The entire Timberplay team pulled out all the stops to deliver the new play facility and it was great to receive recognition for all their efforts. We enjoy a very good working relationship with Odds Farm Park. They are very ambitious in their ideas and we enjoy working on their challenging briefs to deliver creative play solutions to exceed their expectations. We would like to extend our thanks to the Odds team and we look forward to seeing what they will do next.”

NFAN is the trade association for the farm attractions sector and the annual awards, the Farm Attraction ‘Oscars’, were held at a glittering dinner hosted by Scottish Radio and TV presenter Arlene Stuart. The award judges commented on the Timberplay win:-

“This is a second time win for Timberplay and the judges were impressed by the product quality, the innovative use of natural materials, and the way they support their customers throughout installation and beyond.”
