Tax referendum cap lifted for six councils

The council tax referendum cap will be temporarily removed for six authorities, the Government has announced today as part of the provisional local government finance settlement.

They are Westminster City Council, City of London Council, Windsor and Maidenhead BC and Wandsworth, Hammersmith & Fulham, and Kensington & Chelsea LBCs.
