The launch of a £100m fund to pioneer public sector reform and deliver the Government's Plan for Change will see the state operate ‘more like a start-up', a minister has pledged.

The ‘first wave' of the Innovation Fund announced by the chancellor in the Budget will begin in January with a focus on temporary accommodation and family support, said Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster Pat McFadden.
