Somerset could be in need of exceptional financial support

Somerset Council has been found to have 45 ‘key risks' that mean it may need exceptional financial support from the Government.

The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (Cipfa) identified 29 of these risks as having the highest rating of ‘most likely to happen'.
