Row over collapse of legal action

Proposed legal action over the Government granting planning permission for a large-scale solar farm has collapsed, provoking an angry reaction from two councils.

West Suffolk Council, East Cambridgeshire DC, and Cambridgeshire and Suffolk CCs sent a pre-action letter to energy secretary Ed Miliband, the first step towards seeking a judicial review, after he rubber-stamped the 2,400 acre solar farm on the Cambridgeshire-Suffolk border.
