Picture remains unclear over local elections delays

Uncertainty hangs over attempts to delay local elections in almost 30 councils amid a legal challenge by Reform UK.

Although a request for an interim order to prevent changes to election dates was withdrawn by the party at the High Court this week, they will return for a two-day hearing on 19 February.
