New analysis says housing building target needs to rise image

England could need over 500,000 new homes every year according to analysis just released.

With a rising population due to record levels of migration and rising domestic demand, the Financial Times analysis has claimed the required annual supply of new homes could be higher than half a million, 200,000 more than the Government’s current target.
