Local government in Northern Ireland has welcomed the news of a possible return to rule at Stormont.

Chief executive of the Northern Ireland Local Government Association (NILGA), Alison Allen, told The MJ: ‘NILGA is pleased to see the positive political progress in getting the Northern Ireland Executive and Assembly back in place and delivering for people.
