Leisurely new start

Two local government management consultancies have announced they are to merge.
PMP and Genesis said they were to join forces to create one of the largest sport and leisure consultancies in the UK.
New chief executive for the merged companies, Graham Farrant, previously worked as chief executive for Barking and Dagenham LBC, and as director of housing for Birmingham City Council.
He said: ‘Our local authority clients will benefit from the organisational development and business innovation and leadership expertise that Genesis brings.’
