An illegal immigrant has admitted stealing more than £1m from Birmingham City Council, after conning his way into a job with them.
John Kaduwanema, 27, admitted dishonesty at Birmingham Crown Court last week. He worked at Birmingham City Council for nine months and managed to filter £1,033,595 meant for care homes into his own bank accounts.
