Hertfordshire cabinets defy full council on reorganisation

A trio of Hertfordshire districts have submitted reorganisation proposals that defy the decisions of their full councils.

North Hertfordshire, Welwyn Hatfield and East Hertfordshire bucked the will of the majority of their members as the Government's submission deadline for the county's local government reorganisation (LGR) proposals passed.
