Communities secretary Michael Gove has released further details of the Government's productivity plans, including a clampdown on consultants and diversity schemes.

He said the plans, which councils will be asked to publish by July, should focus on transformation, use of technology and data, reducing ‘wasteful spend’ and barriers that Government can help reduce or remove.
