Forest Garden

A new acoustic garden panel that cuts unwanted noise such as loud music, road traffic, noisy neighbours and barking dogs by up to eight times could help UK local authorities meet their noise reduction policies in a highly cost effective way.

The cleverly designed panel is from the UK’s leading manufacturer of timber fencing panels, Forest Garden.

The new Decibel Noise Reduction Panel optimises the reflection and diffusion of noise with unique triangular profiled boards that break up sound waves and are tightly interlocked to prevent gaps that noise would pass through.

In third party laboratory tests carried out at Exova to British Standard BS 1793-2 (the standard for road traffic noise reducing devices) The Decibel Panel achieved a category B3 rating with noise reduction between 25 and 34 Decibels, equal to an eight-fold reduction in intensity.

Great contemporary aesthetics complement the panel’s impressive acoustic performance while a competitive price makes it an attractive proposition for new developments and those looking to replace or upgrade existing fencing.
