Farrar takes on Bridgend
Cardiff City Council’s assistant chief executive, Jo Farrar, has been appointed as the new top officer at Bridgend CBC.
Dr Farrar will take up the chief executive post in January, subject to a final ratification by councillors.
‘I believe that Bridgend CBC is at a turning point where the need and ambition for change and willingness to work in partnership will be an example to Wales and beyond,’ she said.
Dr Farrar replaces Keri Lewis, who retired earlier this year.
