Birmingham City Council has extended its contract with support services giant Capita until March 2021.
The five-year contract extension for the company’s joint venture with the local authority, Service Birmingham, is worth approximately £300m to Capita.
‘We have a successful relationship with Capita through Service Birmingham and we are confident that extending this partnership will mean we are able to continue to modernise services and meet the challenges we are facing,’ said Birmingham City Council’s cabinet member for finance, Cllr Randal Brew.
