DW Windsor

DW Windsor’s new Katana is a modular, highly versatile system of luminaires for large area, high output applications.

For many years specifiers of large area lighting have been limited to bulky, unattractive floodlights to meet the required standards. Katana was designed to address this. The brief was clear: provide choice without compromise to aesthetics or performance.

Katana offers a powerful lumen package, up to 88,000 lumens and is exceptionally efficient (up to 130lm/W). With innovative optical control, featuring Diamond+ technology, Katana offers 24 standard optical distributions for ultimate design flexibility. Predicted lifetime is in excess of 100,000 hours (L90).

Two versions of the system have been launched. Katana Industrial – optimised to provide maximum energy savings with minimal whole life costs and Katana Urban, which is fully customisable to specific project requirements: for those that require a more bespoke and decorative solution.

From high-mast car park lighting (Katana’s low weight - 10kg per module - means it’s perfect for retrofit applications onto existing columns) to discrete wall grazing of a large façade, the Katana lighting system is suitable for use across a multitude of applications and offers impressive energy savings.

Available with a range of control options and future-proof features, Katana is Smart City ready.
