English councils are more vulnerable to cyber attacks than a year ago, according to annual analysis by the Cyber Centre of Excellence.

Every council was awarded a ‘health score' – ranging from 5, signifying ‘strong outward-facing cyber health', to 1, meaning there were ‘significant improvements required', after a ‘passive scan' identifying potential vulnerabilities in councils' IT systems.
