Competition buoys up lifeguards

Cardiff CC’s swimming pool lifeguards have gone head to head in an effort to be selected for the team to take part in this year’s National Lifeguard Challenge. In the end, the side from Fairwater Leisure Centre (pictured) pipped Llanishen’s team to the winning post. But the county’s team, which will compete in Birmingham, will be made up of the best individual performers.
