Commission blasts Birmingham for ‘lack of realism’ over savings
The Audit Commission has criticised Birmingham council leaders for a ‘lack of realism’ about the prospects for achieving more than £650m in savings over 10 years. In a report on the effectiveness of the partnership, the commission says: ‘Council officers are exceeded by consultants and the scale of business transformation work is increasing.’
Within the Highways Directorate we are looking to appoint enthusiastic, customer focused and experienced person to join the Service.
