Clark: Tories and Labour unwilling to address SEND crisis image

Labour and the Conservatives have been accused of an ‘unwillingness’ to confront the crisis in special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) services.

The number of children and young people in England with an education, health and care plan (EHCP) has shot up from 240,000 in 2015 to 517,000.
