In last week’s Surveyor article ‘BT deal plugs city into wi-fi network’ the first sentence says Birmingham is set to become the UK’s first wireless city. It should have read ‘the first city centre outside the capital’ because the City of London’s wi-fi network is due to go into operation before Christmas.
