Children's social care faces 'biggest overhaul in a generation'

The Government has announced a slew of children's social care reforms, including new responsibilities for councils.

Education secretary Bridget Phillipson described it as the ‘biggest overhaul in a generation', including funding and investment in preventative services to be announced alongside the Local Government Finance Settlement.
