Challenge goes live

The first of five programmes highlighting stages in the 2011 Local Government Challenge has been broadcast on Policy Review TV www.policyreview.tv/lgchallenge.

Yesterday (Wednesday), 10 contestants were competing for four places in the final of the competition at the LGA annual conference in Birmingham.

The overall winner will receive a £10,000 scholarship from the Bruce-Lockhart leadership programme, established in memory of former Kent leader and LGA chairman Lord Bruce-Lockhart
