A new online information site for scrutiny teams at Birmingham City Council should lead to a better understanding of risk in the aftermath of the Oracle IT scandal, a conference heard today.

Speaking at the Centre for Governance and Scrutiny (CfGS) conference in Birmingham, chair of the council's corporate and finance overview and scrutiny committee Cllr Sir Albert Bore said the portal ‘allows access to the latest performance, delivery and risk information'.
